Impressions of the Game
This is a blog that I started to share two of my passions, painting and golf. You can click the image below to visit the blog and view all of the artwork.
Moment of Truth
I love the Masters tournament and how it can make or break a golfer’s game. It is really the ultimate test in the game, in my opinion. Rory Mcilroy was going strong and at the start of the 10th hole on the final day and missed his drive left which started the domino effect on his round. I was hoping he would pull it off. Instead, a virtually unknown South African player, Charl Schwartzel, rose to the occasion with birdies on the final four holes.
This painting is an homage to the masters and is the 16th hole, a challenging par 3 that has been a game changer in past masters! This piece is 15 x 30 Oil on canvas and is Titled “Moment of Truth” for inquiries into this or other paintings please feel free to contact me.
Tools of the Trade
A departure from painting moments of the game, brought me to paint the simplicity of golf clubs in a bag. but with the right lighting and composition this piece came together! It is 8 x 10 oil on panel and it is available! If interested please contact me for info on pricing, shipping and commissions.
